Driver Code of Conduct
FairGo works because drivers trust each other. These standards keep the marketplace fair for everyone.
Every verified driver on FairGo agrees to follow these community standards. Breaches may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.
1. Honour your bids
When you win a job, you commit to taking it. Don't bid on fares you can't or won't complete. If something genuine prevents you from fulfilling a booking, contact the posting driver immediately through the app.
2. Post accurate jobs
Job details — pickup, destination, fare, payment type, vehicle requirements — must be truthful and complete. Don't post bait fares, duplicate listings, or jobs you've already filled elsewhere.
3. Use points fairly
Points exist to keep bidding honest, not to game the system. Don't create fake accounts, collude on bids, or exploit refunds and loyalty rewards. The ledger is visible — abuse gets noticed.
4. Treat other drivers with respect
No harassment, discrimination, threats, or abusive language — in the app or directed at other drivers because of a FairGo interaction. Disagreements happen; handle them professionally.
5. Keep verification current
Your CPV accreditation, driver's licence, vehicle registration, and insurance must remain valid. Notify us if your details change. Operating without current credentials puts everyone at risk.
6. Follow the law
You are responsible for complying with all applicable transport, safety, and consumer laws — including Safe Transport Victoria requirements and ESC fare schedules where they apply. FairGo is a coordination tool; you remain the operator.
7. Report problems
See something that doesn't look right? Report it through the app or email support@fairgoapp.com.au. We take community integrity seriously and review every report.
